Privacy policy
This policy explains, in plain language, what ScanOpsPro does and does not collect when you use our scanner, read our guides, or contact us. We are based in Vilnius, Lithuania, and we handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Last updated: 17 August 2026
In short
You don’t need an account or email to run a scan, and we don’t store your scan results. We keep basic server logs to run the site securely, and we use anything you send us through the contact form only to reply. We never sell your data.
Running a scan
To use the scanner you enter the address of a website you want to check. You do not create an account and you do not give us an email address. The URL you submit is processed to perform the scan and generate your report on the spot. We do not maintain a database of scans tied to you, and your individual scan results are not stored or published after the report is generated.
Server logs
Like virtually every website, our servers automatically record standard technical information when a page or scan is requested. This typically includes your IP address, the time of the request, the page or resource requested, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs only to operate the service, keep it secure, diagnose faults and detect abuse. They are retained for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated. The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service.
The contact form and email
If you write to us through the contact form or by emailing hello@scanopspro.com, we receive the details you choose to send — typically your name, email address and message. We use that information solely to understand and respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list without your clear consent, and we keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any reasonable follow-up.
Cookies and analytics
ScanOpsPro is designed to work without tracking you across the web. The core scanner does not require advertising cookies or third-party trackers to function. If we introduce any privacy-respecting analytics or strictly necessary cookies, this policy will be updated to describe them and, where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
- We do not build advertising profiles from your scans.
- We do not publish reports about a site unless a scan was requested for it.
Sharing with third parties
We may rely on trusted service providers — for example hosting and email infrastructure — who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so. We do not otherwise share your personal data with third parties.
Your rights under the GDPR
If your personal data is processed by us, you have the right to request access to it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to certain processing, and, where applicable, to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@scanopspro.com and we will respond within the time frame the law allows. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Lithuania this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
Children
ScanOpsPro is a tool for website owners and developers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
