These terms govern your use of the ScanOpsPro website, scanner and guides. By using the service, you agree to them. Please read them — they are short and written to be clear.

In short
ScanOpsPro is free and provided “as is” for information only. Scan only websites you own or have permission to test, don’t abuse the service, and understand that a scan is not a guarantee or a certification.
The service
ScanOpsPro provides a free, read-only scanner that checks publicly available information about a website — such as its TLS configuration, HTTP response headers and response timing — along with educational guides and reference material. The service is offered without charge and without any account requirement.
Acceptable use
You agree to use ScanOpsPro only for lawful purposes and specifically:
- Scan only sites you are authorised to test. Run scans against websites you own or for which you have the owner’s clear permission. Do not use the service to probe, target or gather information about sites you have no right to test.
- No abusive or automated overload. Do not attempt to overwhelm the service with excessive automated requests, circumvent rate limits, or otherwise disrupt its operation for others.
- No intrusive follow-on activity. ScanOpsPro performs only passive, read-only checks. Do not use anything you learn from it to attack, exploit or gain unauthorised access to any system.
- No unlawful, harmful or infringing use of the service or the content on this site.
Informational purpose only
Scan results and guides are provided for general informational and educational purposes. A ScanOpsPro report reflects a lightweight, external observation at a single moment in time. It is not a penetration test, a formal security audit, or a compliance certification, and it must not be presented or relied upon as one. You are responsible for how you act on the information. See our methodology for exactly what is and is not checked.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that results will be complete or correct, or that the site will always be accessible.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanOpsPro and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the service. Because the service is free, nothing here is intended to create obligations beyond what the law strictly requires.
Intellectual property
The text, guides, design and code of this site are owned by ScanOpsPro unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to read and share our guides and to link to them, but you may not republish substantial portions as your own or misrepresent their source.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we may update these terms as the service evolves or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable European Union law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Lithuanian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
